An Evening with Tom Hart Dyke

Hadleigh Productions are very pleased to announce that in November, Tom Hart Dyke, the acclaimed horticulturalist, author and plant hunter will be coming to Hadleigh to talk about his life, his love of plants and his family, who have owned Lullingstone Castle in Kent for twenty generations. Tom created ‘The World Garden’ there in a magnificent two acre Victorian and Tudor walled garden, which now contains a miniature map of the world, with plants located in
their correct native land masses. This was the subject of two BBC series, Save Lullingstone Castle and Return to Lullingstone Castle, which were originally broadcast in 2006/7.

Tom will be talking for about an hour and there will then be a question and answer session. Finally, there will be a chance to chat to Tom and maybe purchase one of his books in the Ansell Centre, where refreshments will be served.

When: Saturday 21st November 2026 – 7pm
Where: Hadleigh United Reformed Church, Market Place, Hadleigh, IP7 5DL
Price: £10 including refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drink or a glass of wine)

There will also be a licenced bar for further refreshments
