Orford Open Gardens 2025

Orford Open Gardens 2025

In the lovely village of Orford in East Suffolk on Sunday 25th May, twelve beautiful private gardens will be open for visitors.

Gardeners in Orford have been opening their gardens for many years to raise funds for St. Bartholomew’s church, a Grade 1 listed landmark that sits at the heart of the village.

As well as strolling around the gardens, visitors can enjoy a pop-up café in church with home-made cakes and hot and cold drinks, buy plants, and enter a raffle to win a £100 National Garden Gift voucher.

Tickets and refreshment will be on sale from 10.30am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, and the gardens themselves will be open from 11.00am to 3.30pm.

Entry is £7 per person, with discounts for groups over five. Under-18’s go free. Contactless and cash payments are accepted.

Most of the gardens are accessible for wheelchairs, and there is a large pay and display car park in Quay Street, opposite the Jolly Sailor pub.
