SGT Annual General Meeting and Fullers Mill 2023

Saturday 15 July 2023, 2pm

28th Annual General Meeting of the SGT in Culford Village Hall, The Street, Culford, IP28 6DN.

Culford is on the B1106 road from Bury St Edmunds to Brandon. Parking available at the hall.

                                  AGENDA

1. Apologies for absence (Officers and Council only)

2. Minutes of the 27th AGM held at Drinkstone Village Hall on the 13th August 2022

5. Any other business (of which prior notice has been given to the Chairman)

Afterwards, there is an opportunity to visit Fullers Mill, West Stow IP28 6HD, the RHS’s Partner Garden of the Year for the Midlands and East Anglia (see page 8). Only a short distance from Culford, Fullers Mill lies between West Stow village and West Stow Country Park.

Admission £7 per person (pay at the gate – but helpful if you could tell us in advance if you intend to join this visit, so that we can let Fullers Mill know the likely number of visitors), tea and cakes available in The Bothy Tea Room.

Fullers Mill is owned and managed by Perennial (Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society) and visitors enter the garden entirely at their own risk. The garden has many features – bridges, steps, paving, uneven paths, deep water etc, which may present hazards. Every effort is made to ensure access is as safe as possible but the garden is a natural environment which by its very nature will not be fully accessible and may be unsuitable for the disabled, infirm or very young. Perennial disclaims any and all liability for injury, loss or damage occasioned by an accident or incident. Dogs are not allowed in the garden apart from assistance or support dogs.

A leaflet about the gardens, with a map, is available at: https://perennial.org.uk/garden/fullers-mill-garden/
