Following the tremendous success of last year’s St Edmund’s Day Dinner, we are delighted to extend an invitation to the townsfolk of Bury St Edmunds and surrounding villages to this year’s celebration at the magnificent St Edmundsbury Cathedral, which promises to be another outstanding evening celebrating the town’s patron saint.
Last year’s event raised more than £28,000 for local charities while bringing together 330 guests from businesses and individuals who contribute so much to the continued success of Bury St Edmunds.
This years headline charities are:
Suffolk Sight working at the heart of communities across Suffolk, providing practical support and life-changing services for adults and children living with sight loss. Many of the essential services they provide rely on charitable funding to continue, and every pound raised helps ensure they can keep delivering this invaluable support to those who need it most.
The Abbey of St Edmund Reborn Project working to is preservr one of our town’s greatest treasures for future generations. The project will celebrate the extraordinary story of St Edmund, bringing the Abbey’s remarkable heritage to life through engaging experiences that inspire and connect a new generation of visitors, ensuring this important part of our history remains at the heart of Bury St Edmund’s.
Tickets are £95 pp to include welcome drinks, sumptuous 3 course meal, entertainment, a high value raffle and auction. Tables will seat 10, with table-sharing options also available for those who may not require a full table.
The dinner continues to grow in reputation as one of the most important and enjoyable business and community events in the town’s calendar and we hope you will join us and help to make this year’s event an even greater success.
We highly recommend securing your table/tickets without delay. Ticket sales are strong, the dinner was sold out early last year.
